Hosta Granny's Smile forms an upright, medium clump reaching heights of 30cm-38cm, with a mature spread of up to 75cm. This seedling of Hosta Granny's Rouge was developed by Jari Hynninen of Finland. Hosta Granny's Smile features narrow, dark green leaves supported by bright red petioles, reminiscent of vibrant red lipstick. The foliage is pointed, semi-glossy, and notably wavy. This variety is known for its vigorous growth, forming an upright clump that exhibits dynamic motion. It has striking red petioles and produces intense violet flowers. The long, shiny green leaves are held on upright red petioles, and the attractive purple flowers bloom on tall purple scapes reaching up to 60cm.
