Hosta Hands Up forms a small to medium upright mound reaching 30cm-36cm in height, with a spread of 36cm at maturity. It is a sport of Hosta Praying Hands. The very thick leaves are tightly folded and twisted, featuring a more defined cream-yellow margin. The heavily rippled and satiny leaves are very shiny underneath, revealing their glossy undersides when they fold. Lavender flowers appear on 60cm scapes during the summer. Hosta hands Up is slug-resistant and sun-tolerant. This Hosta has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
