Hosta Hands Up will form a small to medium upright mound of 12"-14" in height,with a spread of 14", at maturity. It is a fully tetraploid sport of Hosta Praying Hands. Very thick leaves (like rubber) are tightly folded, & twisted with a more defined cream-yellow margin. The heavily rippled & satiny leaves are very shiny underneath, revealing their glossy undersides, when they fold. Lavender flowers appear on 24" scapes in summer. Maybe best used in container or miniature gardens to really show it off. A very unique Hosta that belongs in every collection! Its quirky and unusual style makes it a favourite when on sale.
