Hosta Wisconsin Red will form a mound of 40-50cm in height , with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. It is an upright Hosta. The new foliage emerges red & can last even into August. The ovate leaves are moderately wavy and moderately folded. A key trait of this plant is that the dark purplish colour in the petioles extends well up into the leaf blade. Prefers partial shade. Lavender flower appear in July & August with red scapes of up to 80cm holding up the bloom. Part of our Special Collection.
