Hosta Tom Terrific will form a large mound of 45-60cm in height, with a spread of up to 95cm at maturity. Round, yellow leaves, on red petioles, that remain all season. The leaves are slightly shiny on top, nearly round, slightly cupped and slightly corrugated overall with rich purple on 2/3 of the petiole. One of the largest golden Hostas, that have red petioles. Hosta prefers shade and partial shade. It shows off with purple flowers contrasting the yellow foliage. These are held on purple scapes of about 95cm long during July and August. It is named after Tom Micheletti, past president of the American Hosta Society. Part of our Special Collection.
