Hosta Illicit Affair will form a small mound of 25cm-30cm in height, with a spread of up to 64cm at maturity.  A delightful sport of the mini Hosta Cheatin Heart from Zumbar. Comes up in the spring with bright gold leaves looking just like Hosta Cheatin Heart, but then develops a green centre. By mid season the centre is dark green. Second flush is again initially gold contrasting well with the older leaves. Somewhat larger than Hosta Cheatin Heart and vigorous for a mini. It has Purple flowers in July & August held on scapes of 50cm. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
