Hosta Kabuki will form a small to medium, loose mound of 10" to 12" in height, with a spread of up to 18", at maturity. The colour of the leaves are blue green but there is very little blue mixed in with cream details. The cream colour of the leaves is streaked randomly throughout each leaf and each one is unique. The leaves are very lightly corrugated and slightly cupped making the leaves of this plant appear to have little to no detail other than the colour variegation. In summer leaves are green with a bright white margin. The lavender flowers bloom on scapes of up to 24", in July and are tubular. This plant is not sun or slug resistant and should be planted in the shade.
