Laterna Magica is a small Hosta reaching about 8"-12” in height,with a spread of up to 22", at maturity. It produces a small mound of narrow, slightly wavy leaves. The almost golden upright leaves, have a wavy margin & are heavily rippled. It is a rapid growing Hosta and likes a little sunshine, to keep the yellow colour. In the summer, the clump is topped with a mass of delicate, intense lavender, flowers displayed on 18", green scapes. It isn't slug resistant but will tolerate the sun. Looks great when in full flower and mass planted.
