Hosta Morning Star will form a medium mound of about 18"-22" in height, with a spread of up to 32", at maturity. It has the ability to brighten up any shady corner with its thick dark green leaves and a creamy yellow centre, which it holds all season given wherever it is positioned. The leaves have a superb substance to them that also gives them a good pest resistance. So is good for planting out, or in a container. Lavender flowers make an appearance on 28" scapes in summer. A reverse variegated sport of Hosta Anne...wide dark green borders surround a flared light yellow centre with the leaf being divided into equal thirds. Slug resistant but protect from hot midday & early afternoon sun. A lovely hosta which is always a favourite almost everywhere it is seen.
