Hosta Morning Star will form a medium mound, reaching a height of approximately 45cm-55cm with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. Its thick dark green leaves, featuring a creamy yellow centre, can brighten any shaded area throughout the entire season. As a reverse variegated sport of Hosta Anne, Hosta Morning Star displays wide dark green borders surrounding a flared light-yellow centre, with the leaf divided into equal thirds. In summer, lavender flowers emerge on 70cm scapes. It is slug resistant and should be planted in dappled shade.
