Hosta Rocket City will form a mediuml clump of 35cm-45cm in height, with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. It exhibits tight yellow foliage with upright leaves that are narrow and folded. As the season progresses, the colour transitions from yellow to a yellowish white. The plant's leaves are slightly shiny,and somewhat twisted. The vigorous growth habit ensures quick establishment. Flower scapes resemble rockets emerging from the clump, featuring striped, pale purple flowers from July to August on yellow scapes reaching up to 120cm. These scapes transform into yellow seed pods if left intact.
