Hosta Rocket City will form a medium clump of 35cm-45cm in height, with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. It exhibits tight yellow/green foliage with upright leaves that are narrow and folded. As the season progresses, the colour transitions from yellow/green to a yellowish white. This Hostas leaves are slightly shiny, and somewhat twisted.  Flower scapes resemble rockets emerging from the clump, featuring striped, pale purple flowers from July to August on yellow scapes reaching up to 120cm.
