Hosta Rocket City will form an small clump of 8"-12" in height, with a spread of up to 26", at maturity. A tight yellow clump with upright leaves that are narrow and folded. Late season change from yellow to yellowish white. A bit shiny, very cupped, a bit twisted, very folded, a bit wavy, a bit corrugated. Vigorous in habit so it won't take long to establish. Bloom scapes are like rockets erupting from the clump. They are striped, pale purple flowers, from July into August, on yellow scapes of up to 48" turning into yellow seed pods, if left. Not thought to be slug resistant or sun tolerant.
