Hosta School Mouse will form an attractive miniature mound measuring approximately 20cm to 30cm in height, with a spread of up to 36cm at maturity. This variety, a sport of Hosta Church Mouse, retains all the excellent characteristics of its parent but features a distinct yellow margin. The thick, coarsely wavy leaves display blue green to green centres with creamy yellow margins that maintain their colour consistently throughout the season. In early summer, scapes of 36cm, slightly above the foliage, bear lavender flowers. It is a noteworthy addition to the expanding Mouse family of Hostas. This Hosta is both slug resistant and sun tolerant. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
