Hosta Silver Light will form a small mound of 8" - 10" in height, with a spread of up to 26", at maturity. The foliage is intensely silvery blue with very long lasting wax. Small heart-shaped leaves are very blue and hold their colour long into the season. The intensely blue-green foliage is broadly ovate, moderately corrugated, slightly cupped, slightly wavy and glaucous on top. Pale lavender, tubular flowers with white stripes bloom from July into September, held aloft on 26" long scapes. It appears to be both slug resistant and sun tolerant. This is a must for gardeners with its silvery outlook.
