Hosta Valleys Love Birds will develop into a small to medium mound reaching a height of 20cm to 25cm, with a spread of up to 40cm at maturity. The plant features vibrant yellow leaves in the spring, marked by prominent veins and a distinctive wavy margin. The leaves are elongated and textured, slightly twisted, deeply wavy, and moderately corrugated on the upper side. This upright-growing species is characterised by its small size and yellow/green foliage, which darkens in colour as the season progresses. From late July through August, deep purple tubular flowers bloom on 50cm scapes, and the plant produces viable seeds. This variety is part of our Special Collection.
