Hosta My Marianne forms a loose, small to medium mound of about 10"-14" in height with a spread of up to 20" at maturity. It is an attractive hybrid of 'Amy Aden' X 'Filagree' from Patrick Lydon (1999 AHS registration); excellent in containers and in the garden. Substance and colour gives this small to medium hosta a different look. Medium green leaves with a distinct creamy white margin; light lavender flowers on 20" scapes appear in July. In mid to late summer the centre of the leaf becomes heavily misted with green. Leaves will be a subtle two-toned green in late summer. Although the brightest colour is in spring, this hosta looks good all season. It is not slug resistant or sun tolerant.
