Hosta Dinner Mint forms a compact clump measuring 15cm to 20cm in height and can spread up to 40cm upon maturity. This variety, derived from Hosta Lemontini, makes a refreshing addition to a trough or pathway border. Hosta Dinner Mint emerges in the spring with vibrant yellow leaves edged in dark green. As the season progresses, the yellow foliage turns chartreuse, while the smooth, glossy leaves remain visually appealing. When grown with some sunlight, the leaf centres may display a brighter yellow hue. This attractive small Hosta blooms with purple flowers on reddish-purple scapes reaching up to 30cm tall during July and August. Its size makes it versatile for placement anywhere, and it looks excellent both in pots and borders. It is partially sun tolerant.
