Hosta 'Dinner Mint' will form a tight clump of 6"-8" in height with a spread of up to 16" at maturity. This is sport of 'Lemontini' that makes a refreshing addition to a trough or along a pathway. Hosta Dinner Mint emerges in the spring with bright yellow leaves bordered by dark green. Eventually, the yellow turns chartreuse, but the smooth, glossy leaves remain attractive. If grown in some sunlight the leaf centres should be a brighter yellow. A lovely small Hosta that blooms with purple flowers on reddish-purple scapes up to 12" tall , in lJuly & August. Small enough to fit anywhere! Looks excellent both in a pot or a border. Partially sun tolerant, but not slug resistant.
