Hosta August Moon will form a large, loose, mound of 18"-26" in height with a spread of up to 46" at maturity. The large, yellow-green leaves, in older plants are curled. Their colour depends on the site and season. At the beginning of the season light green in particular, a sunnier place, more yellow. Can withstand quite a lot of sunshine, for a certain period even full sun. Remains attractive all season. medium rate grower. Pale lavender flowers turn to white later on. It blooms in June on 30" scapes. It brings bright and light to every dark corner. This is on older cultivar which is still very popular. It grows well in pots too. Not slug resistant but is sun tolerant.
