Hosta Curly Fries will form an irresistable miniature Hosta of just 4"-6" tall, with a spread of up to 16" at maturity. It has a fine textured, arching mound of extremely rippled lance-shaped, pale chartreuse leaves. Position this Hosta where it will receive some morning sun, will help its chartreuse foliage will do best. Mature plants will develop red speckled petioles that will be absent when younger. As the plant becomes mature it may lose some of its rippling, so keep splitting to keep the rippling effect. Star-shaped lavender flowers appearduring July & August, just above the foliage rising on scapes of 18". Sun tolerant but not slug resistant.
