Hosta Eye Declare will form a mound of 16"-18" in height with an eventual spread of up to 36" at maturity. The brightest coloured Hosta in springtime. This medium specimen has rounded leaves that are bright yellow in spring, with a narrow, streaky, dark-green margin, becoming more chartreuse in summer. Lavender flowers emerge from darker buds on 30" scapes in July & August. Protect from hot afternoon sun to prevent scorching. Need to add some contrast to your garden – Eye Declare will do the job wonderfully. Not slug resistant but rarely seems to get attacked. Morning sun is OK, but ensure no midday or afternoon sun. I wouldn't be without this one. Looks amazing in a container on its own.
