Hosta Independence will form a medium-sized mound reaching 45cm-50cm in height, with a spread of up to 58cm at maturity. This mid-sized specimen is notable for its unique characteristics, of speckles in the margins. Each clump consists of sturdy, dark green, heart-shaped leaves with a broad, creamy white edge accented by green flecks. In June and July, attractive clumps are adorned with 70cm tall spikes of lavender flowers. It is slug resistant. Best grown in dappled shade or morning sun.
