Hosta Midwest Magic will form a medium to large mound, reaching a height of 45cm-60cm and spreading approximately 120cm at maturity. Hosta Midwest Magic, a sport of Hosta Sea Dream, features smooth, rounded leaves that transition from dark gold to lighter shades as the season progresses. The wide border of very dark green offers a striking contrast. The dimpled texture of the leaves gives an almost iridescent appearance to the yellow centre, with the leaves being notably pointed. In early summer, the broad clumps are adorned with 75cm scapes of light purple flowers. The leaves possess substantial thickness, providing enhanced resistance to slugs. It thrives in light shade conditions.
