Hosta Phoenix Feathers will form a large mound of 55-65cm in height, with a spread of 130cm at maturity. It has gently wavy yellow leaves held on red petioles. Petioles are held upright and the leaves arch downward. The red from the petioles does come into the base of the leaf. Unlike other Hostas, it holds the yellow colour all season and actually becomes a darker gold in late summer. Can handle some sun. This Hosta inherited all the good qualities from its parents Hosta Harry van de Laar and Hosta Sun Power. It will definitely brighten up your garden!
