Hosta Prairie Sky will form a fairly tight, small to medium, mound of about 14"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 36", at maturity. This Hosta has thick, rounded, almost heart-shaped, slightly cupped, powder blue leaves that hold their colour extremely well, even in extreme heat, but keep in a shady spot to maintain the good blue colour. Considered to be one of the best blue forms yet introduced. Leaves of good substance making this variety somewhat slug resistant. Pale lavender flower appear in July to August on up to 32" scapes. A great variety if you want a medium sized blue Hosta that will give you no bother.
