Hosta Tom Thumb will form a super-miniature sized mound of only 5 - 10 cm cm in height, with a spread of up to only 25 cm at maturity. A Hosta venusta seedling, found in Japan but named by Marco & Joyce Fransen. Small, slightly wavy green leaves with lavender flowers held on short scapes of up to 40 cm tall. Truly a miniature Hosta with small green leaves that hug the ground and form the cutest little mound. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
