Hosta Spartan Glory will form a semi-upright large mound of 60 - 70 cm in height with a spread of up to 100 cm at maturity. It consists of heavily corrugated green leaves with creamy-yellow margins. Leaves emerge blue-green in spring with a yellow margin. By mid-summer the leaves are green with a white margin. This hybrid of Hosta Elatior and Hosta Herb Benedict, introduced by J & S Wilkins.
In July & August it produces near white flowers held up on scapes of up to 100 cm tall. This Hosta is both slug resistant and sun tolerant.
