Hosta Shiny Sonata will form a medium mound of 18"-22" in height, with a spread of up to 50", at maturity. It has slightly rounded, shiny dark green, cupped leaves. This variety has the added bonus of fragrant, deep lavender flowers, held on 36" long scapes throughout July and into August. It is also slug resistant, but much prefers dappled shade to live in.
