Hosta Love Story will form a medium mound reaching 30cm-40cm in height, with a spread of up to 100cm at maturity. The leaves are long, heart-shaped, and slightly rippled, terminating in a distinct point. They exhibit yellow and light green streaks between the centre and margin colours, presenting an ovate shape that is relatively flat and has a dull finish on the upper surface. This tricolour leaf bears resemblance to Hosta War Paint. In early summer, tall scapes of approximately 75cm produce a mass of near-white flowers, with a transluscent interior stripe. Hosta Love Story is a striking new tricolour Hosta and is slug resistant due to its ruffled leaves.
