Hosta Eclipse forms a large vase-shaped mound, reaching 70cm-75cm in height with a spread of up to 155cm at maturity. It has large blue green leaves with a wide golden-yellow margin. The leaves are slightly folded, very wavy, and corrugated. Near-white flowers appear on 95cm scapes from late June to mid-July. The leaves are of good substance making it resistant to slugs, and tolerates some sunshine.
