Hosta Boondocks will form a mound of 22"-26" in height, with a spread of up to 52", at maturity. This is a large - extra large, blue-green, Hosta that will grow in the sun. The leaves emerge grey-green with a good layer of wax and as the wax dissolves the leaves become a shiny dark green. A large mound of green foliage that forms an elegant clump. An impressive mound of shiny dark green foliage. which is wavy, deeply lobed with a slightly pointed tip. Very pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July on scapes up to 40 inches tall. Happy to say both slug resistant and sun tolerant. A fairly rare variety, not easily obtained. This is part of our Special Collection.
