Hosta Emerald Tiara will form a small to medium mound of 30cm-36cm in height with a spread of up to 60cm at maturity. It features a dense mound of flat, heart-shaped leaves with gold centres and bright green leaf margins, along with bell-shaped, purple flowers on 70cm scapes in June and July.  When planted in large group the flowers are a mass of purple. It thrives best in light, dappled shade and performs well as a ground cover plant. This Hosta is sun tolerant.
