Hosta Smash Hit will form a medium-sized mound reaching  50-60 cm in height, with a spread of up to 60 cm at maturity. It is a sport of Hosta Orange Marmalade, featuring wider margins and more robust foliage. Initially, the leaves appear blue green with a striking gold centre. As the season advances, the leaves transition to a greener hue, and the centre lightens. When the leaf centre turns creamy white, streaks of orange-gold emerge between the centre and the green margin. These colours become more vivid in bright locations. In extensive sunlight, the leaf centre will turn pure white with light green streaks. The leaves are thick, slightly wavy, and somewhat corrugated. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July and August on 70cm scapes. This variety exhibits beautiful colouration and good sun tolerance.
