Hosta Gemstone will form a charming small mound of twisted blue foliage, reaching about 10cm-15cm in height with a spread of up to 30cm at maturity. The spade-shaped leaves feature a gentle waviness and are coated with an intense powder-blue hue.  Lavender flowers bloom on green scapes up to 30cm high from June to July. Hosta Gemstone is noted for its rapid growth and striking blue foliage.  It is resistant to slugs and tolerant of sun. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
