Hosta Hush Puppie forms a compact mound reaching 15cm-20cm in height and can spread up to 45cm upon maturity. The leaves exhibit notable substance and are distinguished by their bold cream margins and a glaucous sheen, which is uncommon for Hostas of this size. The plant produces numerous spikes of rich lavender flowers on 75cm scapes from mid-June through July. Due to its vigorous growth rate and durable foliage, Hosta Hush Puppie is suitable for planting out after a couple of years in a container. Its rapid growth facilitates easy division and distribution throughout the garden or sharing with others. Additionally, it is resistant to slugs and tolerant of sunlight.
