Hosta Yellow Boa will form a small mound of about 10"-12" in height, with a spread of up to 16", at maturity, with a lovely mound of slighty wavy yellow foliage. Foliage turns greenish-yellow later in the season. An excellent Hosta for near the front of a border. A lovely mini/very small Hosta, suitable for a trough or bowl with other minis. Hosta Feather Boa, looks similar, is slightly smaller. Growing Hosta Yellow Boa in a few hours of sunlight each day helps to retain its bright gold colour longer during the growing season. Pale lavender, almost blue flowers, appear on scapes of up to 18", during July & August. Some sun tolerance but probably no slug resistance.
