Hosta Yellow Boa will form a small mound approximately 25cm-30cm in height, with a spread of up to 40cm upon maturity. It features slightly wavy yellow foliage that turns greenish yellow later in the season. A similar variety, Hosta Feather Boa, is slightly smaller in size. To maintain its bright gold colour for a longer duration during the growing season, it is advisable to grow Hosta Yellow Boa with a few hours of sunlight each day. During July and August, pale lavender, almost blue flowers appear on scapes reaching up to 45cm.
