Hosta Limey Lisa forms a miniature, fairly flat,6" tall and 15" wide mound of fast growing chartreuse leaves that are spoon shaped. The leaves of this hosta emerge chartreuse to green and get darker as the season progresses, and will stay lighter if given a little sun. If sited in bright morning sun the yellow color stays better. Lavender flowers that bloom in early summer contrast nicely with the foliage. Purple flowers appear on 16" scapes in early July. This is a medium grower that will tolerate the sun but not slug resistant.
