Hosta Ivory Queen will form a small to medium sized mound of 12"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 32", at maturity.  It has a reverse pattern variegation of Hosta Blue Ivory. This queen of shade forms a majestic mound of cream to near white, spear-shaped leaves, with broad, long-lasting blue-green, slightly rippled, margins and a dash of green jetting between the two. In the heat of summer, the white centres can become clouded with blue-green, and may even turn to a solid blue colour, but the spring and early summer colouration makes a classy looking plant. Hosta Ivory Queen grows slowly and performs best with some morning sun. Planting in a cool place will retain the variegation. Slug resistant. Pale lavender flowers on 24" scapes in June. Guaranteed to be popular. Surely fit for royalty. This is part of our Special Collection.
