Hosta Minuteman will form a medium mound reaching 40cm-45cm in height, with a spread of up to 75cm at maturity. This Hosta features dark green leaves with striking and well-defined white margins, often confused with Hosta Patriot due to similarities, though both are equally attractive. It thrives in low light conditions and is known for its broad-spreading growth habit. The leaves are heart-shaped with a heavy texture, gently cupped, and develop pronounced puckering when mature. Pale lavender flowers bloom on 60cm scapes in July. This Hosta is slug resistant and sun tolerant, although it prefers dappled shade over full sun. It has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
