Hosta Valley's Lemon Squash will form a vase shape mound of about 14-16" in height, with a spread of up to 20", at maturity. It erupts in the spring with vibrant, lemon-yellow leaves that are wrapped with incredible ruffles. The foliage is silky-smooth and somewhat twisted, with chalky-white undersides. Red to purple petioles hold the leaves of Hosta Valley's Lemon Squash in a semi-upright, fountain-like mound just dripping with Hosta goodness! Lavender flowers top this mouthwatering plant on scapes of 24" in to be enjoyed during July & August. This is a hot one!! No information yet about slug resistance, but should do well in the sun.
