Hosta Pocketful of Sunshine develops into a small mound approximately 25cm to 30cm in height, with a spread of up to 50cm upon reaching maturity. This plant is a variation of Hosta Rainforest Sunrise and features broader dark green margins. It forms a compact cluster of thick, leathery, and distinctively cupped foliage. The leaf centres emerge as chartreuse and become brighter as the season advances. Notably, it has demonstrated stability and lack of production issues commonly observed in related plants. Pale lavender flowers bloom on 38cm scapes above the foliage from July through August. Additionally, this variety exhibits some tolerance to sunlight, despite its reasonably substantial leaves.
