Hosta Stirfry is a small to medium hosta 16" tall but up to 36" wide at maturity, with dark green, satiny, heavily rippled, wavy leaves with a gentle twist to the tip, it also has a lovely velvety sheen, I find the plain hostas are really useful when displaying as they help break up the variegated ones. Purple flowers appear in summer on long scapes up to 48" tall, holding the flowers well above the foliage. A great contrast with the purple flowers and rich green foliage. A real show stopper! Not known as to it tolerance to sun or slug resistance, therefore assume that it isn't either.
