Hosta Bold Edger will form a mound of 12"-18" in height with a spread of up to 48" at maturity. It is a compact, but erect growing, Hosta bearing thick, ovate, mid- to dark green leaves with broad, irregular, yellow, wavy, margins turning creamy-white with age and upright 30" scapes bearing racemes of fragrant, funnel-shaped, lavender flowers during July & August. The spreading habit makes a very attractive mound. Slug resistant and sun tolerant. A great Hosta for the front of any border.
