Hosta Coast to Coast is a prominent solid gold Hosta variety, reaching a height of 70cm-80cm and spreading up to 90cm at maturity. Its foliage emerges gold in spring, transitioning to a lighter gold with increased sun exposure during summer. This giant yellow variety features large leaves with remarkable wavy margins. As the leaves mature, they become thick, puckered, and exhibit nearly white undersides. The upright, vase-shaped clump is enhanced by green scapes extending 100cm, adorned with pale lavender flowers in midsummer. Due to its thick foliage and rigidly upright habit, this Hosta demonstrates increased resistance to slugs. It can be cultivated as a single specimen in a large container or situated prominently within the landscape.
