Hosta Seducer forms a large mound of approximately 45cm to 52cm in height, with a spread of up to 100cm at maturity. The name Hosta Seducer aptly conveys its allure. This variety creates a substantial mound of broad, ovate, dark green leaves with chartreuse to gold, slightly ruffled margins. In the summer heat there is a white area in between the leaf centre and margin colour that creates a halo effect. It is advisable to plant this Hosta in some light to achieve the varied foliage colours. The Hosta Seducer is sun tolerant. Near-white, tubular flowers appear on scapes of up to 120cm from late July through early September. Additionally, it is reputed to be resistant to slugs. Clearly, this Hosta offers numerous desirable attributes.Has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
