Hosta Seducer will form a large mound of approximately 45cm to 52cm in height, with a spread of up to 100cm at maturity. This variety creates a mound of broad, ovate, dark green leaves with chartreuse to gold, slightly ruffled margins. In the summer heat there is a white area in between the leaf centre and margin colour that creates a halo effect. Near-white, tubular flowers appear on scapes of up to 120cm from late July through early September. Clearly, this Hosta offers numerous desirable attributes. Hosta Seducer is slug resistant and sun tolerant. However, it is advisable to plant this Hosta in some light to achieve the varied foliage colours. It has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
