Hosta Fort Knox will form a large mound of 55 - 65 cm in height with a spread of up to 150 cm at maturity. It is a cross of Hosta Liberty Bell and Hosta Sun Power, introduced by Don Dean. It has upright leaves, held on red petioles, that are a bright clear yellow and slightly wavy. Lavender flowers are produced in late summer on pale green scapes of up to 90 cm.  Hosta Fort Knox can tolerate some full sun and this will accelerate the growth rate and brighten the colour.
