Hosta Silk Road forms a medium mound reaching approximately 30cm-36cm in height, with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. It is distinguished by its unique variegated foliage, featuring deep green centres and broad creamy yellow to creamy white margins that constitute about half of the leaf area. The plant exhibits an upright growth habit with large, broadly ovate leaves held horizontally on erect petioles. In mid-summer, it produces pale lavender flowers on 75cm tall flower scapes.
