Hosta Ambrosia will form a substantial mound, reaching heights between 55cm and 65cm, with a mature spread of up to 70cm. As a sport of Hosta Guacamole, it features a prominent glaucous coating. The foliage is characterised by light yellow leaves with an attractive blue margin, further enhanced by an additional wax layer that imparts a notable glaze. Ambrosia is distinguished by its ability to produce new leaves throughout the summer, thereby maintaining some of its spring appearance during the warmer months. Fragrant flowers emerge on tall scapes, approximately 112cm in height, in late summer. Additionally, this Hosta is sun tolerant and slug resistant.
