Hosta Cathedral Windows forms a medium to large mound, reaching heights of 40cm-50cm and spreading up to 90cm at maturity. Selected by Hans Hansen, this cultivar features bright gold leaves with broad, dark green margins that develop a dome shape as they mature. In July and August, it produces large, fragrant near-white flowers on scapes up to 115cm tall. This variety is considered an improvement over the award-winning hybrid Hosta Stained Glass. With its sturdy leaves and good resistance to slugs and snails, it thrives even in sunny conditions. Furthermore, it has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding qualities. It is particularly striking when planted in a pot and consistently stands out.
