Hosta Chain Lightning will develop into a medium-sized mound, reaching a height of 45cm-60cm and spreading up to 80cm at full maturity. This variety is an excellent grower, featuring thick grey-green leaves with irregular yellow to creamy-white centres. As the plant matures, the leaves exhibit some cupping and corrugation, enhancing the beauty of this Hosta. From July to August, lavender flowers emerge on scapes that can reach up to 75cm in height. It forms an attractive mound of foliage that stands out in shaded gardens and is both resistant to slugs and tolerant of sun exposure.
