Hosta City Dog will form a small to medium open Hosta of 30-40cm in height, with a spread of up to 75cm at maturity. It has lance-shaped green leaves with a rippled white margin. A sport of Hosta Red Dog but with a nice red petioles. Leaves are twisted with rippled margins which makes the clump look like it is constantly moving. The lavender flowers reach a height of up to 50cm during June & July.
