Hosta Eleanor Lachman forms a compact mound ranging from 25cm to 38cm in height, with a spread of up to 40cm at maturity. It features rounded leaves with a creamy white centre and broad dark green margins. This plant exhibits substantial foliage, contributing to its resistance to slugs. Medium lavender flowers appear in July on 50cm scapes. Initially, only a few were sold in the mid-nineties, leading to its gradual emergence. Although it grows slowly, it requires adequate light, avoiding intense afternoon sun to prevent melting out. This Hosta is particularly suited for collectors.
