Hosta Country Livewire will form a medium-sized mound, reaching a height of 30cm-40cm and spreading up to 80cm at maturity. Its long, pointed leaves are a deep green with a nice sheen. The leaf edges slightly turn up, revealing white undersides and prominent ruffles. As it matures, the foliage broadens somewhat. Hosta Country Livewire rapidly develops into an animated open clump. It blooms with large lavender flowers scapes, which can reach up to 75cm in late summer. It is also resistant to slugs.
