Hosta Devon Red will form a small mound of just 10-12cm in height, with a spread of up to 18cm at maturity. It has small green leaves held on red petioles. In spring it shows a small red margin and red leaf-tips. Hosta Devon Red is smaller than Devon Green or Devon Gold. It has lavender flowers, appearing in July held on scapes of up to 30cm. It grows in semi shade and full shade.
